My business partner and I have both experienced the frustrations of trying to find a literary agent to assist us with publications of our books. After a high volume of rejections, we came to realise that there are simply not enough agents to support the numbers of authors who want their services.

In fact, as a new, unknown author, you have around a 1 in 200 chance of securing a literary agent and subsequently gaining the support of a major publishing house.

The 1in200.uk initiative recognises that the majority of writers, whether as a result of experiencing these frustrations or as a conscious decision, are independent, self or traditionally published authors that experience the frustrations of trying to get their books marketed and sold. We offer a service where we act as a conduit into your local independent bookstores, who will prominently display and sell your books on branded 1in200.uk shelf space.
